Hot Summer Nights

While driving out of the city Friday night, the sky was so beautiful (and menacing) that I tried to capture it on camera. I took this photo from our moving vehicle. I love how the raindrops are in focus and the sky is blurred in the distance.



Later, while sitting outside on this hot summer night, drinking the coldest of beers, we witnessed another stunning display in the sky - an electrical storm far off in the distance. I've never seen so much lightning ever. It was incredible.
