A Softer Side

Here are some reasons why I love winter....

Nature can be so beautiful stripped down and bare. Exposed. I wanted to create a series of photos depicting winter in a warmer, friendlier, softer light.

I never really used to enjoy winter until I took up skiing a few years ago. Now I adore winter. But you don't need to ski to enjoy January. Bundle up. Really bundle up. And make sure that there is a nice reward once you return home - a warm cup of tea or some time by the fire. I guarantee you will not regret it.

I will be adding these photos and more to my shop over the next few days.

Wow! Your photos are stunning!!!
Sorry C, but can't say I'm a fan of winter weather though. Seriously though, I have circulation problems in my legs so I lose sensation in them very quickly when out in the cold. I think it's the perfect excuse to convince my husband to move to the Bahamas. As if... ;)

Yup, my poor legs, feet and toes!
I don't suppose your friends that are moving to Barbados have room in their suitcase for me? kidding!!

These were really inspiring. Sometimes I forget the simplicity of winter.
