The Importance of Little Dreams

I'm still tired, but very, very, happy. The show was a success and surpassed my expectations. It has always been a little dream of mine to be in this spectacular show. It's hard for me to put myself out there in such a public way, but all of the beautiful people I met made it so worthwhile. I loved meeting each and every person who stopped by my tiny booth. Your words of kindness and encouragement (whether a sale was made or not) made my heart sing.

I'd also like thank my dear family and friends who came out to support and help me. How lucky am I? In particular, my husband, who has made this all a reality - who didn't flinch or bat an eye when I left a stable, high-paying, banking career to follow my dreams. Finally, a big thank you to the talented artisans who were so generous with their advice, help, and company. Sue, Jen, Jen, and Benita, I was incredibly lucky to have been alongside you for the show. I sincerely hope we cross paths again.

Why do I feel like I'm writing an Oscar acceptance speech? Well, I guess I do kind of feel like a won an Oscar. Little dreams can sometimes turn into big dreams. I think it is important to remember that.

It's so wonderful to read about how well the show went for you! Hurray! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the event and I do regret not being able to stop by and say hello. I hope there will be a next time :)
