Breaking Waves

We've just returned from a beautiful vacation.

Now it is time to shake off the tiny bits of sand.
Bundle up.
And get back into the small routine of things.

Thank You

Participating in a big show like the One of a Kind is a difficult thing to do.
Aside from the massive amount of preparation, the expense, the commute, and the long hours, it is the really BIG things like talking to strangers, talking about me, talking about my work, selling my work....that are absolutely terrifying to an introvert.

Yet, everyone who came by made it easy.
And I am so moved and touched by the support and generosity I received.
Thank you for everything.
Thank you for allowing me to continue doing what I love to do.
I am excited for the year ahead.
Made possible.
By you.

OOAK Show 2012

Ah. The booth.
I love seeing how it all comes together.
After setup, I'm always filled with a great sense of accomplishment.
It is a visual validation of the long hours I've put in these last few weeks.

The show starts tomorrow and runs until December 2nd.
You can find me at K-46.
I can't wait.
I hope to see you there!

Oh. That.

Apparently I've been walking around with a partially dislocated elbow for the last 3 months.
It was quietly adjusted back into place yesterday.
Just. Like. That.

Despite suffering needlessly for the last few weeks, this development should speed up my prep for the show exponentially.
Today......I feel like superwoman.

Back to work.

Time Again

The One of a Kind Show is less than 2 weeks away!
This is a show I never feel prepared for, but I have indeed been very busy getting ready.
There will be plenty of new images.
Please come say hello.

Happy Halloween

The boys were so excited going off to school this morning in their costumes.
Their joy was contagious.
It made me a little sad watching them run off.
They are growing bigger each day.
And one certain day, halloween morning will not be so riveting.
But for now, I'll savour it while I can.
