Still Waiting
Still waiting for my roof to be repaired. Apparently, I'm not the only one in the city of Toronto with a roofing crisis at the moment?!? Yes. We've had that much snow.
The boys are still blissfully happy.

Cuteness! Isn't it great how kids can make you see things from a totally different perspective?! Take the lemons and make spiked lemonade :)
I'm very worried about the upcoming Saturday thaw and basement flooding. But at the same time, I'm also glad the weather will be warmer. We shall see what ensues...
have you had any basement flooding? oh no!!!!
we have to wait two more weeks to have our roof replaced. i'm also worried about the saturday thaw.
we were going to put our house on the market this spring so its awful timing!!!
No basement flooding yet, but it's our first winter here and we're keeping our fingers crossed that it does not happen. We have so much weather proofing to do in the Spring/Summer...windows, doors, mason work on the roof...sigh!

we really want to stay in Toronto, but are looking into Oakville. currently, we are in leslieville and I love it here, but we are seriously running out of space.
I never ever thought I would ever be a surbabanite (I was born and raised in TO), but the big houses (with a proper studio space) are really tempting us.
nothing has been decided yet, but we are looking into it.
