Home of our Hearts

Cape Breton has always felt like home to me.
A land as tough as it is beautiful.
It is the place of my childhood memories and I was delighted to watch my boys fall under her spell.

We hiked, we camped.
Gorged ourselves on homemade biscuits, lobster and crab.
We squealed with delight as the Atlantic turned our toes numb and blue.
Basked under blue skies.
And shivered in her briny winds.

Oh Cape Breton.
We dearly miss you.

All of the Cape Breton shots are lovely...
There's quite a resemblance to Newfoundland but it seems kinder somehow...At least through your lens.
